Speck Design partnered with Smartypans to create a revolutionary smart cooking pan that aimed to enhance the cooking experience by seamlessly integrating innovative technology with user-friendly design. I was the creative lead for this project and worked with a team of designers, electrical + mechanical engineers, industrial designers, and user experience designers to develop a wholistic product package that was ready for the market.

We were tasked with refreshing the Smartypans brand, developing a distinct brand identity that would appeal to their target market and differentiate them from competitors. We were able to create an identity system including: logos, typography, colors, and messaging that effectively communicated the product's unique value proposition and resonated with the target audience. Additionally we needed to ensure to develop a seamless and engaging user experience for the Smartypans product. We designed the app integration to be smooth, reliable, and user-friendly, allowing users to effortlessly track weight, time, temperature, and nutritional information, as well as replicate and share their favorite recipes.
